Hello and thank you for participating in our FixaPet program.
Please review the FixaPet Program description which will answer all of your questions about how the program works. It includes a list of procedures for you so that you know exactly what to do and what to expect.
Also review the Consent and Waiver Form. Please read but do not sign this form. We will review the information with you when you come to the Shelter.
Please bring the waiver form with you when you bring your cat(s) and/or dog(s) on the day of your appointment between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. Please be prompt!!
Please be sure to withhold food from your pets after 8:00 p.m. on the night before your appointment. (If your pet is a kitten or puppy less than six months old, it may still have food in the evening. Do not give breakfast on Tuesday morning.) It is OK for your pets to have water.
Below is a list of other services offered through the FixaPet program for an additional fee. We will be happy to assist with your pet’s needs. If you are interested in any of these items, be sure to indicate that when you bring your pet to the Shelter. If you wish to booster your pet’s previous vaccinations, please be sure to bring documentation showing what vaccinations your pet has already had.

Distemper Vaccination $12.00
Canine Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Vaccination $10.00
Canine Bloodtest - Heartworm/Lymes/Anaplas/Erlichiosis $25.00
Canine Heartworm Preventative (monthly pill) $10.00-$12.00 each
Canine Lymes Vaccination $25.00
Canine Worming (based on weight) $15.00 and up
Feline Leukemia/FIV Bloodtest $25.00
Feline Leukemia Vaccination $12.00
Feline Worming $20.00
Flea & Tick Treatment $12.00
Microchipping $15.00
E-Collar $6.00
Take-Home Pain Medication - Included!
Nail Trim - No Charge
Your pet(s) will be ready to go home late afternoon the same day about 4:30 p.m.
If you are unable to keep your appointment(s), or can’t bring all the pets you have appointments for, please let us know right away, as we paying the veterinarian for this time and it is reserved specifically for your pet(s). The cost for the FixaPet surgery is:
Spay Cat $75.00
Neuter Cat $65.00
Spay Dog $100.00
Neuter Dog $80.00
For a pet in heat there will be an additional $10.00 fee. If pregnant, the additional fee is $20.00
For dogs weighing more than 60#, there will be an additional $30.00 anesthetic fee. If over 80# the additional fee is $35.00. And if over 100#, the additional fee is $40.00.
