COVID-19 Update from CCHS:
During these difficult times, we take reassurance that we are all in this together! CCHS will continue to be closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are still doing adoptions but those are by appointment only using social distancing guidelines. Pets available for adoption may be seen on our website and applications can be submitted online as well.
Our CC Resale store is reopening on Saturday, June 6th!! We are so excited to see our customers again! We will be limiting the number of customers in the store to 6 at a time and we request everyone to stay 6 feet apart. The wearing of masks is certainly recommended. Because we have limited the number of customers, we will also limit the time each shopper has. We ask you to shop quickly and efficiently so that everybody can have a turn.
All FixaPet appointments have been cancelled but we hope to start rescheduling appointments next week. We will contact those that had cancelled appointments first, working through the oldest to newest (March, April, May, June). We are working on new protocols for the FixaPet program to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. We will share that information soon.
Donations continue to be vital right now and are so needed to help us keep going. You can make a monetary donation of any amount online through our website at: cchs-petshelter.org/donate-to-cchs. Donations of food and supplies may be left outside our main entrance door where staff will keep an eye out and bring them quickly inside. Our Wish List is at: cchs-petshelter.org/wish-list. If ordering through Amazon, remember to use Smile.Amazon.com and indicate CCHS as your charity of choice. Our Amazon Wish List can be found at: bit.ly/CCHSWishList. Every penny is truly going to help make a difference for the animals.
If you are in Marshfield, donations can also be left at Mall Furniture. They have partnered with us to be a drop-off collection point for donations to help the animals. We thank them for their assistance and support!
If you have any urgent questions or needs, please email us at , as our phones may not be answered. This is an extremely challenging time for us, as we focus on providing the best care possible for our cats and dogs. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We do know that we’ll get through this with the help of all our members, supporters and friends. Please stay safe and stay well!
done in FixaPet!
We are celebrating 19,000 surgeries done in our FixaPet Program! Since FixaPet started, we have helped make a difference for more than 19,000 cats and dogs. We are so very proud of our staff and our vets, Dr. Gary and Dr. Jen, for the wonderful work they do. In honor of this milestone, Meena, shown here with her mom Jessica, received her surgery free! They were just delighted to be #19,000! If you have a cat or dog that needs to be spayed or neutered, give us a call! We'll be happy to help your pet too!! Appointment Line: 715-743-4550.

2019 Dog & Cat Statistics
We are very proud of our 2019 Statistics. As a true No-Kill Shelter, we believe that transparency is critical to our mission, and will always disclose factual numbers for adoptions/RTO's/transfers/deaths/euthanasias at the Shelter. (Redemptions or RTO's are strays that came to the Shelter and are returned to their owners.) We are thrilled that our Live Release Rate is 99.5% for dogs in 2019 and 97.2% for cats.
