Tonya and Tim decided the time was right to add a new dog to their family. They fell in love with little "Monica"
as she was just the right size and age. Now called Sophie, she joins four 'siblings', Isaac, Caleb, Micah, and Abby,
and we're sure all the kids are having a great time together!
Wesley and Joan and their dog Bear were looking for another dog for companionship. They found "Phoebe" on our website,
and fell in love with her right away. She looked just like Bear did when she was younger, and could have even been her
little sister. The two got along great when they met, and we know that Bear is now teaching little Phoebe all the important
things a dog needs to know!
"Jack" had been at the Shelter a long time waiting for his new family to come find him. He was so happy when they
finally did! Phyllis had recently lost her dog and needed a new friend in her home, so her family brought her to CCHS
to find that new friend. When she walked into Kitty City, Jack picked her out right away! Jack was a very special
kitty at the Shelter, and it's very quiet without him in Kitty City. But we're just delighted he got such a great home
with such a wonderful family! It was one of those adoptions that made us smile all day!!
Dee wanted to surprise her daughter Jamie with a new puppy, and couldn't resist when she found "George". One of
the cutest little puppies around, everybody wanted George when they saw him! But Jamie was lucky enough to get to take
him home. She was so excited she even brought a new baby blanket for her new friend. We're quite sure Geoge is
being thoroughly spoiled by Dee and Jamie, as well as Jason, shown above.
Lance and Danette stopped by CCHS looking for a new dog to add to their family. They found little "Radar", who
loved their children Lee and Anastasia right away. They also liked that he was young and trainable. Now called
"Benny", we're sure he's added lots of love and fun to the whole family!
"Cleo" (short for Cleopatra) came to the Shelter when her previous owner just didn't want her any more. Lucky for
Cleo, Julie and Evan very much wanted her! Now called "Maya", she's enjoying life with her great new family where she
gets to go for walks and can even visit the Dog Park. We're so pleased that such a sweet puppy's journey has such a
happy ending!
Dave and Becky saw pictures of "Susan" when they visited our Adoption Fair at the Mall. They knew she was exactly
the kind of puppy they wished to add to their family. They applied right away, and were very happy when they were selected
to take her home! Now called 'Daisy', she joins three children in the family, Gabriella, Benjamin, and Nathanael.
Our sweet little Pomerian "Frosty" (on the left) just hadn't been able to find the right home. That is, until Charlotte
and 'Bear' came to meet him. They knew he would be a good fit for their home and family, and that they could give him
the love and attention he very much needed!
Lony and Amanda saw "Scully" when they visited our Adoption Fair. They gave it a lot of thought, and decided he
was exactly the companion they were looking for. He was a big cat, yet still looked like he has some kitten left
in him. We're so glad that Scully finally got the warm, loving home he had been waiting for!
Brandon had recently moved to the area, and was looking for a small dog to keep him company. When he met "Sancho",
he said that he was perfect. Sancho thought so too, as he quickly cuddled up to Brandon on the couch. Seems he
knew he had found his new home and was looking forward to lots of toys and couchtime in the future!
Justin had been looking for just the right kitty, and had visited our Adoption Fair a couple times to check them out. This
time he found our "Luna", and knew she was the one. Luna has a great personality, plus she is extremely playful.
We're quite sure the two of them are enjoying a great time together!
Andy (2nd from left) and his family were visiting the Sports Show at the Mall when they happened to stop by our
Adoption Fair. He'd been asking his Dad for his own cat for quite a while, and the time was finally right. He
picked out "Trinket", a playful sweet girl who got along with everyone. Trinket will join two other cats, Sassy and
Ellis, a dog, Liberty, and an African Grey parrot named Howie.
"Catalina" was one of our 'special needs' cats. Being diabetic, she had been at the Shelter for over eight months
waiting to find a new home. Luckily, Annie was looking at 'special needs' cats online, and came across Catalina.
There was something in her eyes that she just couldn't pass by, and had a gut feeling that Catalina was meant to join her
family. Now called 'Oonagh', our old friend is adapting to her new home and is enjoying her new life filled with love.
We're so happy that her stay at the Shelter had such a wonderful ending!

their days with lots of fun and love!
Edith had seen little "Ghost" at our adoption fair, but wasn't quite ready yet to add another cat to her home.

and entertainment.
Chris had adopted his kitty Oscar (previously called Checkers) from CCHS last year. He and Angela came back to
the Shelter to find another kitty companion, and quickly fell in love with our "Cassie". They liked her pleasant attitude
and felt she would be a good match for Oscar. Cassie is certainly providing lots of cuddle and purr time!
"Sophie" was a beautiful Tabby who was very cuddly and very talkative. And that was just what Kathy and Lon were
looking for. They had lost their Maine Coon 'Gabby' last fall, and had decided they were ready to have a cat in the
family again. Sophie's personality was outstanding, and we're pretty sure she hasn't stopped talking since she got home!
Colleen and her daughter Kayle met "Savannah" while they were volunteering at CCHS. They definitely knew a good
thing when they saw it, and it wasn't long before little Savannah was on her way home. Just a darling little kitten,
Savannah is now sharing her new home with another kitty, 'Reeses', as well as two dogs, 'Braveheart' and 'Kramer'.

"Tobie" was one of our most special little kitties. Haven fallen down the steps when she was only three weeks old,
Tobie suffered neurological damage that caused her to wobble when she walked. Michael had lost her cat 'Satan' three
years ago to kidney failure, and it had taken her a long time to be ready to have a kitty again. When she and Christopher
walked into Kitty City and met Tobie, they knew right away that they had a special connection. They knew that they could
provide the safe and loving home that Tobie needed, and that they would all benefit from each other's companionship and love.
We couldn't ask for a better family for our little Tobie!
Laura and Jonathan came to CCHS looking for a playmate for their kitty 'Kelsey', a Calico they had adopted from
CCHS a year ago. They fell in love with little "Abby", and lo and behold she's a Calico too! We know that Abby

and was finally ready to fill the empty spot in her heart and love again. She found Harley on our website, and could
tell from the look in his eyes that they needed each other. We've already heard back from Marsha that 'Harley fits in
like a well-worn glove'. Harley joins 'Keyla', a German Shepherd, who is happy to have a new best friend.

to catch that laser pointer!

and loved how playful and talkative she was. They had to wait to take her home until she had recovered from her spay
surgery. Now called "Tootsie", she was well worth the wait! She joins two other cats, 'Tanner' and 'Toughy', as
well as a 'brother', Maverick.

their lives, and soon Gucci was on her way home. Now called "Hazelnut", she joins 'Lucy', a Chocolate Lab/Husky.
Sandra and Dave came to our Adoption Fair because they were looking for another cat. They already had two, Colby

she needed to fill the empty spot in her life. Her other kitty, 'Squirmy', really missed having a feline friend, too.
We sure that Goblin is doing his best to keep everyone company!
Terri was looking for a companion, both for herself and her Pomeranian, Dutchess. "Uncle Shorty" was a very handsome
Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. He had been at the Shelter waiting to find a new home, but was usually passed
by due to his shy and timid nature. Luckily, Terri and Dutchess could see right through that to the great dog he is
underneath. We're so happy that Shorty now has a home and family of his own!
