Sparkler.jpg

"Sparkler", our 4th of July stray, was a sweet Beagle who captured the hearts of Cassie and daughter Brilee. Sparkler was a birthday present for Brilee, but most of all will be a cherished member of the family. She'll enjoy lots of snuggle time and lots of play in their fenced yard!

jaceytwyla.jpg

"Jessie" and "Twyla" couldn't be happier that Rhonda and Debbie chose them! Both special cats will enjoy a great new home filled with tons of love and attention.  Now known as Binx & Jinx, they join a few other special pets and will enjoy many days snuggled up together in the warm sun.

Harvest.jpg

Ryan & Sarah came to our Adoption Fair looking for a kitty who was already spayed and declawed.  Even though they didn't find what they were looking for at the Mall, they were able to read about "Harvest" and knew she was exactly what they wanted.  They submitted their application and were able to pick her up at the Shelter when she was ready to go home with her new family.

Punky.jpg

Stacey and Corey fell in love with "Punky" and "Styles" at our Adoption Fair in Marshfield.  Poor Punky had to wait longer to go home, as he was being treated for a gum infection.  His lucky day finally came, and Stacey came to the Shelter to pick him up and take him home to rejoin his best buddy Styles!

alex1.jpg

"Alex" didn't have to wait long to find the family of his dreams! His young new mom Kassandra is pictured holding him, along with her grandparents Wayne & Cyndi. He joins a house full of love, and lots of doggie friends to play with!

maxsmooshy.jpg

"Max Smushy" was just too cute, which is why new mom Cindy couldn't resist him. After losing two pets close together, the house was too empty and it sounds like the little snuggler Max is just what they needed. With a mom who's home during summer, and will treat him like a king, Max couldn't have found a more pampering home!

Harley.jpg

"Harley's" parents Mahala & Todd were just stopping by to play with the cats when her new mom fell in love with her. Yet how could you not with big blue eyes like hers? She will certainly get a lot of attention and a lot of love in her home with a few spoiled kitty friends to keep her entertained & lots of exercise in the fenced yard her family soon plans to put up for her.

Chiquita.jpg

"Chiquita" Chihuahua found a great new friend in Jeremy, and is now happily living in Milwaukee.  Jeremy, an illustrator and graphic artist, works from home, so we just know he's having a great time with his new buddy!

Shotgun.jpg

"Shotgun" is such a special kitty!  Having suffered severe injuries, Shotgun was nursed back to health at CCHS for several weeks.  He never stopped purring the whole time he was being treated!  Debbie fell in love with Shotgun and was so happy to adopt him.  He is now living in his new home with two kitty friends, Missy & Cody.

Panda.jpg

Becky came to our Adoption Fair with her children Cami and Olivia to add one more cat to their family.  They said "Panda" was just the cutest kitten there, and so she was on her way home.  Panda joins three other kitty friends, Charlie, Jessie, & Bailey, as well as Luki, a dog Becky adopted from CCHS earlier this year.  We hear that Luki is so good with cats that she didn't even flinch when Panda landed right on her head while playing!  We think Panda is very lucky to be part of such a wonderful family!

luckypenny.jpg

What could be luckier than two lucky charms?  We were all very fortunate that Cheyenne and Matthew came to our Adoption Fair with their parents, Jacqueline & Tracy, and fell in love with two of our kittens.  "Penny" is now Cheyenne's kitty, while "Clover" is happy to be Matthew's buddy.

Pebbles.jpg

Dorothy didn't plan on getting a new kitty, as she had just recently lost one of her own to old age.  But little "Pebbles" had other plans!  He met up with Dorothy at our adoption fair and totally won Dorothy's heart and also her daughter's.  They decided that she was just what they needed, and so little Pebbles went home.  She's now called "Cinder", and Dorothy has reported that she is the smartest cat ever!

Grace.jpg

Adam and Grace came to our Adoption Fair looking for a new kitty.  They decided that while kittens are very cute, they really preferred an adult cat who was looking for a calm home.  We had just what they were looking for, and "Grace" was the lucky winner!  We think it was a great match and know that Grace is now very well-loved.

Acorn.jpg

"Acorn" found a wonderful new home with Doreen & Bob.  It certainly wasn't planned, as Doreen & Bob came looking for a new Siamese kitty.  But Acorn totally won their hearts and they couldn't go home without her!

Baylee2.jpg

Gwen was very happy to find her new friend "Baylee" at our Shelter.  Baylee was even happier to find a wonderful new home!

MrsB.jpg

"Mrs B." was so happy to go home with Julie.  She's going to be a pampered girl, and she'll even have her own bedroom if she wants it!

teaspoon1.jpg

"Teaspoon" was one of our extra special cases from the Juneau County rescue. Despite all she went through, the super personality stayed with her. Tom & Shawn had adopted Galaxy (pic below) previously & have been waiting for about 5 months to adopt her as well. She joins a family with about 10 other rescued cats, and 3 rescued dogs. We know she will be treasured like a little princess despite only having sight in one eye. Her family is very glad she and all her friends had been rescued.

Zeus.jpg

We're very glad new dad, Nick, gave "Zeus" a chance despite his 'tough dog' look, which is why so many passed by him. We know both these guys will have a blast together going for walks, car rides & just hanging out!

Tiger.jpg

"Tiger" was diagnosed with a HORRIBLE yeast infection upon arrival, yet still captured the hearts of Wendy, Paul and their two daughters Tralese & Sauvell. We know he'll have all the attention he needs with a stay at home mom & home schooled girls! We hope to hear Tiger has proved to be a great little 4-H obedience buddy for the girls!!

Buckaroo.jpg

Little "Buckaroo" captured the hearts of parents Ted & Sara,  a super Beagle loving family! He joins another spoiled little beagle "sister" named Sadie and kids Kally, Abby, Ben & Amie who will make sure he gets all the attention he needs!

BJ.jpg

Jayde and his daughter Alexis fell in love with "BJ", who also fell in love with them.  Jayde had grown up with a German Shepherd dog, and wanted to share that wonderful relationship and companionship with his daughter.  BJ was exactly the dog for their family!

Autumn.jpg

This sweet boy sat in our cat playroom while his parents volunteered cleaning cages. "Autumn" found a comfy spot on Michael's lap to snuggle and completely won his heart! Luckily for Michael it was his birthday the next day, so parents Ginger & Dan decided he deserved a kitty of his own. Autumn was soon on her way home to join 4 other rescued cats, 3 of which came from CCHS!

DaisyMae.jpg

"Daisy Mae Duke" knows she's extremely lucky to have great new parents, Jason & Kieshan, as well as two children, Michael & Trista, to play with.  She captured their hearts online since in looks and  personality she was just like the lab they lost to old age. Daisy was headed out on a  3 hour trip home to where she'll get tons of love and lots of playtime.  She'll even get to go on family vacations, camping, and swimming!

Tillie.jpg

Even though our cute "Tillie" had Seborrhea, which was still being treated, new mom Bobbie Jo fell in love with her cute face and great personality.  We know Tillie will be the center of attention, gets lots of exercise, and tons of love in her great new home!

Gemini.jpg

"Gemini" was lucky to find a super Rottweiler loving home who knows just how sweet and special the breed can be. She will certainly be loved by her new parents Mike & Cindy who plan to include her in all their activities!

Ali.jpg

Little "Ali" was just the cutest and sweetest little Calico kitten.  Dena came to our Adoption Fair with her parents, looking for a new best friend.  She found just what she was looking for in Ali!

Libby.jpg

"Libby" captured the hearts of so many, and has found a super home.  After Jeanette lost her last dog to old age, we know Libby will certainly be loved by her mom, and get lots of attention when Libby's new best friend (pictured) visits. Plus, she's a dog who loves to ride, so her proud new Grandpa (also pictured) will get to spend a lot of time with her too!

Toivo.jpg

"Toivo" came to us due to the death of his young owner before they could even start his bird hunting training. It was a sad surrender, however Toivo is looking for a long, happy life with new owners Roger & Marvelene, as well as their son Jared(pictured). Soon he'll be in training to be the best bird hunter out there, just as his first dad had wanted!

Binky.jpg

Little "Binky" didn't have the best start in life until he was rescued and brought to us. He'll need a hernia operation, however that didn't stop Colleen & Timothy from falling in love with him!  We know he's going to have much fun playing with his new doggie brother "Braveheart" in their fenced yard, as well as new best friends Haydn & Michaela!

Ashes.jpg

"Ashes" caught the eyes of Patricia, Tracy & Josh.  Not only did he have a great personality, he was very handsome!  Once they met him, it was a definite match!  He joins another CCHS alumni, Muffin, as well as Abby, a Weimaraner.

Peanut.jpg

Janet met "Peanut" when he first came in to the Shelter, and it was love at first sight!  She waited patiently until he was available for adoption.  When the lucky day finally came, Janet and her grandson Michael were so happy to take Peanut home.

Trilly.jpg

Emily's family brought her to our Adoption Fair so that she could pick out a new kitty for her birthday present!  Emily fell in love with little "Trilly" and picked her to be her new best friend.  Now called Chloe, she is shown above with Matthew, Hayden, Wyatt, Emily, and Shelly (from left).

Styles.jpg

Cory and Stacey decided to add two kitties to their family, and luckily for us, came to our Adoption Fair in Marshfield.  It was a difficult decision, but they finally decided on "Styles" and "Punky".  They are shown above holding Styles, just before they all go home!

Scarecrow.jpg

Tammy felt it was time for another kitty in her family, as her current kitty "Will" seemed much too lonely.  She came to our adoption fair, where her daughter Ashley fell in love with Scarecrow.  The feeling was mutual, and Scarecrow was off to a brand new adventure!  He's shown above with Ashley, Tammy & Nick.

Charm.jpg

"Charm" was one of those very special little kittens, who's both very sweet and absolutely adorable.  Susan fell in love with her and thought she'd be a great addition to her home.  She was also looking for a companion for her other cat, "Drifter".  We're sure that they are all having a great time together!

Moose.jpg

Pam had previously visited Kitty City at CCHS, and knew that "Moose" was a very special kitty.  She especially liked the way he came to greet her at the door.  She decided to stop at our Adoption Fair, hoping that Moose might be in attendance.  He was there, and she decided it was time to take him home!

Loki.jpg

Our cute little "Loki" was a perky, peppy little fella who will be the center of attention at Elizabeth's home.  He will also get to spend time with two kitties, Spooky & Snoopy!

wiggums2.jpg

"Wiggums" was one of our "wiggle butt" dogs, because his little butt wiggled every time he wagged his tail.  Wiggums was really wiggling on the day he got to go to his new home with Carol!

Cooper.jpg

"Cooper" was a "Mini BK" since he was part Maine Coon.  He couldn't have found a better home than with Johanna & James who drove from Illinois to adopt this sweetie after losing their last Maine Coon to old age. We know "Super Cooper" will be spoiled beyond belief!
