ADOPTION FAIR
Our next Adoption Fair will be held on Saturday, November
26th, at Shoppes at Wood Ridge in Marshfield. We'll be at the mall from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with lots of adoptable
animals for you to meet.
BAKE SALE
Our huge bake sale will be held
on Friday, November 18th, 2011, at Mid-Wisconsin Bank in Neillsville, starting at 9:00 a.m. There will be a huge selection
of treats for everybody,and we're always looking for more volunteers to help us with the baking. If you'd like
to assist, please let us know! Don't miss it!!
ANNUAL RAFFLE
Our annual raffle will be starting in December. We'll have great gift cards as prizes, as
well as a gorgeous hand-crafted quilt. Watch our website for complete details soon! PAWS
& CLAWS HOLIDAY DINNER Our biggest event of the year, our Holiday Dinner is scheduled for Sunday,
December 4th, at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville. We'll have a delicious meal featuring our incredible dessert
extravaganza. There will be great prizes for the raffle and silent auction too. There will also be lots of information
about the events and animals at CCHS. Be sure to join us for a great time! HOLIDAY
APPEAL Each year at Christmas we hold our Holiday Appeal, which includes special ornaments to
be displayed on our Christmas Tree at CCHS. The ornaments are a wonderful way to honor or remember a special person,
pet, or event. Details on the appeal will be mailed to our members in early December and will also be on our website.
DOG WALK "Paws
for a Cause" will be held June 13, 2012, at Schuster Park in Neillsville. Always a very successful event, this
is a great chance to spend some quality time with your dog! It's also lots of fun to visit with other animal-lovers.
Great prizes will be awarded. Be sure to check back for more information.
Due to the incredible success of our new resale shop, CC Resale,
in downtown Neillsville, we will not be holding a rummage sale this year. However, we still need your
donations of rummage items. CC Resale is located at 600 Hewett Street and is open 9:30 - 11:30 on Saturdays.
We'll be happy to take your donations at that time. Just bring them right to the store! We can even help you
unload your vehicle. Just stop in first and ask for help. While you're there, don't forget to check
out the thousands of wonderful items for sale!! (Because of space limitations, we are unable to accept furniture,
large floor-standing appliances, windows or doors. We are not accepting clothing at this time.) *************************************************************************************
